Dolly the
Sheep
An animated series pitch bible following Dolly, a cloned sheep who gains consciousness, and her bumbling scientist companion Dr Ezra on wacky science-based adventures.
About the Project
Dolly the Sheep is an animated series concept developed as a pitch bible. The project centres on Dolly, a farm sheep who gains consciousness after one of Dr Ezra's cloning experiments, and her relationship with the well-meaning but clumsy scientist.
The series is aimed at older children with some adult humour woven in. Dolly is silently intelligent, solving problems through body language and expression, while Dr Ezra's academic brilliance is constantly undermined by his lack of common sense, their personalities perfectly complementing each other.
Set in a distant rural farmland village, the pair embark on wacky science-based adventures from an unassuming farmhouse with a secret laboratory hidden beneath a trapdoor.

The Characters
A cloned sheep with unexpected consciousness. Silently intelligent, she communicates through body language and expression. Logical and often right, she quietly solves the predicaments the duo find themselves in.
A brilliant but clumsy young scientist living in a small farm cottage. Nobel Prize winner and advanced biochemist, yet utterly lacking in common sense. His caricature-like features reflect his bumbling personality.
